I live in Florida, I shudder to think what the forecasting of this year's Hurricane Season will be like. The funding to the Hurricane Hunters has already been cut. We are still waiting on repairs from Milton, we need accurate reporting.

Did that once, it was called The Great Depression. I remember when adults, who lived through that time, recalled when they were working for 11 cents an hour. Back then there was no such thing as unemployment compensation.

Of course Bezos is optimistic, he's getting huge tax breaks. The rest of us, especially those like myself who relies on Social Security and Medicare, should be terrified.
