Every year my husband asks me for a homemade dessert for his birthday. Every year he says he doesn't care if I use canned filling or premade pie crust. And every year I remind him that in this house we don't half-ass birthday food.
Anyway this year he got a nectarine crisp. Happy birthday darling.
