What we are witnessing is the fallout from the destruction of a well funded, secular, public education system. Reagan destroyed public education and the middle-class. We in Canada need to take note. In BC, the destruction of public efucation began with the right wing but has not been reversed.

Years ago, under the incompetent leadership of Christy Clark and the BC Liebrals, we saw the dismantling of the BC public education system. Public education is a societal contract. It is the great equalizer as it can grow opportunities among the financially disadvantaged. Invest in our youth!

I am seriously concerned about the state of public education in BC. The new government has done nothing to correct the destruction caused by the BC Liberals. I don't want us to go down like the USA.
