We are now in the part of History class where the students ask "why didn't anyone stop them?".
Just searched for "kakistoligarchy" to see if someone had already coined it and apparently only @cynde.bsky.social has put it out into the world thus far. Sadly, I think this is a word whose time has come, so consider this my effort to make "fetch" happen. :/
