Senator Padilla spoke moments AFTER Kristi Noem outrageously stated she intended to “liberate” the City of Los Angeles from its democratically-elected mayor and governor.
He had every right to confront her about her incendiary, hateful, and deeply stupid statement.

DHS is also lying about him being repeatedly told to back away. The video shows the men who pushed him don’t even open their mouths, they just grab him and get them out of the room without saying a word.
DHS is arguing members of the Secret Service don't know who a U.S. Senator is, that he didn't identify himself (he does in the tape), lunged towards the Noem (not evident on the tape), and somehow all this necessitated him being hauled away, thrown to the ground and cuffed. x.com/DHSgov/statu...

This is an obvious point, but cannot overstated. There is an enormous difference between deporting someone - where they get off a plane as a free citizen in their home country AND FUNNELING THEM INTO A BRUTAL PRISON FROM WHICH THEY HAVE NO CHANCE OF EVER EMERGING!!!
