After that, what other small text games should I port/code/make for FT-DOS?
Leaning towards clones of either Star Trek or Dope Wars. Both can be played with simple character or string input.

TIL that some of the storm plates shot for Master & Commander's rounding the cape scene were shot aboard the HMB Endeavour replica at the Maritime Museum here in Sydney.
The idea of THAT ship (which is a collier, so not ideally shaped for such things) hit a storm like that is pretty horrifying.
