We were taught to give oral iron first! Which makes sense; however, pregnant women, women with severe iron deficiency (correlate with life functions/mental health issues), IV iron upfront should be a consideration! Also, compliance issues with oral iron due to side effects, IV may be preferred!

Just like Trump, he’ll probably never be held accountable, but this is pretty funny! 😏
