So sorry missed #GenChat last night. Have been in a "pause" as to projects. My beautiful mom's final advice to me was to take care of my core family of 4, being sure to HAVE FUN. Doing our best in that regard in honor of Yvonne Carol Gates Brady,

"Relish tray". Was my job early as girl helping mom w/ T'Giving meal -- late 60s, early 70s.
She was from rural western Colorado. (Her mom from Colorado, her grandma from Iowa, GGrandma from England.)
Gherkins, blk & grn olives, carrots, celery, deviled eggs.

I did not carry on this for meal.

Amen on the ONLY DULLES flying plan. (Says Northern Virginian with retired air crew family and who flies a lot .... )

Just seeing this. Echoing all the thanks. I loved what we once had for a more cohesive, vibrant #Genealogy community. I have learned & shared so much. #GenChat was such a bright spot for me. Feeling like #ancestors 200 years ago who moved away never knowing if they'd see family / friends again. 😢
