I realize my posts here are not-so-much about #Genealogy.

But this is a CRISIS in our beloved country and world.

Honoring my ancestors and family history by staying informed and involved is the right and most important thing to do, given this situation.

Ah, the "relish tray" for Thanksgiving. Sweet memories.

#Genealogy
I am going to use this lovely post as an excuse to ask a question that has plagued my adulthood: is the idea of a “relish tray” a regional thing or is it just that my family didn’t do it? If someone asked me to bring one to a gathering i would have genuinely no idea what they meant
let's talk about relish trays! thanksgiving mvp, refreshing, balancing, and only occasionally turkeypomorphic. what's on yours?

Just a friendly reminder as we go into the holidays:

Folks don't have to explain to you why they don't drink.

If you offer them a drink and they decline, don't ask them why. It's not your business.

Just offer them something without alcohol to drink instead. And move on.

Regardless of how many researchers highlight the cultural trends against "AI" data centers, & the increasingly widepread public awareness of the unequal economic & environmental harms of these systems, a lot of tech-pilled ppl will only pay attention once it shows up somewhere like WIRED.

So here:
The Data Center Resistance Has Arrived
A new report finds that local opposition to data centers skyrocketed in the second quarter of this year.

For those who stumble here: ZERO meaningful evidence that son (and Rev War soldier) William Brady had a son Nathan Brady.

Please work to find TRUE father for Nathan, likely in NC.

Beware "researchers" who claim this connection as true.
Sometimes I create an attached "person" to add explanation ... Like a brother named "Nathan, I was NEVER William's brother" (LOL) or
"Nathan, FICTIONAL BROTHER".

Then add notes & timeline as part of Proof I will eventually write.

If I float this profile, I use custom tag "Float"

The problem of sexual assault goes well beyond the perpetrators. It wouldn't happen without the enablers. Such as Republican politicians who go to church on Sunday and then spend their workdays trying to cover up the president's involvement with a child sex trafficking operation.

I have to reiterate that the loss to the United States of so many excellent scientists who were fired by Donald Trump and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is catastrophic to the future of the country.

And also to the present of the country.

Today is a good day to remember, and to say, that the #MeToo movement was right, and was righteous, and has been vindicated over and over again. There was no overreach. There was no excess. There was no they-went-too-far.

So much work remains to be done.
