My partner in crime @gubgubgub.bsky.social is running this costumed life drawing session for all ages at Dobbs Ferry library’s Ferrycon tomorrow! Local friends, come draw with us!

He’ll be selling mini comics, screen prints and merch! There are other awesome vendors and events all day long too!

Summer is not quite done yet, but I just found some of my fall and Christmas art (done for Union square arts collective) out there in the world. Sur la table has my retro Santa’s on tableware and dollar tree has my little woodland fall critters!

This month has been busy. I finalized a dummy a long time in the making, made and sold some freelance prints, got buried and then crawled out from under paper work for adulting/ non kidlit related things…. But sadly what I did NOT do is a #kidlitartpostcard :( enjoying seeing everyone else’s though!

I'm getting very close but still some colors are always just *a little* less vibrant. Left is P3. Right is CMYK. #kidlitart #illustrators what are your tips? Please share :)

I've Been using P3 color space on #procreate recently & converting to CMYK/adjusting colors in photoshop for things that will be printed. I think I get brighter colors this way than I would just starting off in CMYK.

Ok great. Look for in the next few days. We just need to check that the sound was Ok on the recording before we send it out. If it isn't Brian might just need to make a new recording but either way you'll have access for a month. It was a really good presentation.
