Water. Get a gross rag wet, lay it across the spills and wait. Speed up the process by heating up the oven (no need to go hotter than 200°F)

(I haven't looked it up to verify but had just always assumed that American made stuff is too expensive only because of the higher wages. That's apparently only a tiny bit of it)

Someone recently told me that the main problem with transferring manufacturing back to the US isn't our higher wages but the lack of experience and infrastructure. There's just too much startup cost (including training people) for it to pencil.
