Through experience, humans can learn to suppress locations that frequently contain distracting stimuli. Using SSVEPs and ERPs, this study shows that such learned suppression modulates early neural responses, indicating it occurs during initial visual processing.

As a scientist I have experimented with LLMs, such as ChatGPT, for literature searches. LLMs find real papers but miss some, and worse: invent fake papers with convincing details, for example with real authors who work in that field. Beware of these convincing confabulations!
