Started watching gdt’s frankenstein and somehow timed it perfectly so that “what recourse do you have but to live” happened right at midnight, so I guess that’s the energy I’m establishing for 2026

I’m eager for 2026. There’s a lot of promise. But in the last hours of the last day of this year I’m feeling trepidation, hesitation to say goodbye to 2025. Yeah, it was a shit year in the sense my dad died. But 2025 was also the last year in which I had a dad.

Had to drive 2hrs for a work thing today and everyone couldn’t understand why I volunteered for it. Didn’t know how to explain it to them that sometimes I just Crave the road. Just occasionally get a need to drive for hours at a time. Gotta scratch that itch and now I’m good for another few months.

One was about wow coming out with a new expansion that was all about sylvanas & how she had a secret son before she died. now she had to find him in a “motherhood completes you” story. Still feels fuckin unreal that I got into the ucla paralegal program. Like ya I know it’s only ucla extension but my academic pedigree and history did not ever have any iteration of ucla in the cards for me. Or a paralegal degree, much less a career in legal work
