This all brings me to the concept of moral injury, which is a term from the world of veteran care, but describes what many of us are experiencing, across many different professions and systems of care delivery.

At the demonstration I attended four police officers flanked a very tiny group of counter protesters. It almost seemed like they were protecting the "Trump" contingent, but there was no visible threat.

At the demonstration I attended four police officers flanked a very tiny group of counter protesters. It almost seemed like they were protecting the "Trump" contingent, but there was no visible threat.
Went to Media, PA (western suburb of Philadelphia) for a smaller rally of about 2k. Mostly retired and/or older audience, mostly white. Definitely mellow.
A tiny group of three counterprotesters were luckily protected by four police officers.
