💯 AND fear be damned, someone needs to stand up for our country.
FACT 👇👇👇
In 7 months, Trump and Republicans have done generational damage to the United States, our economy, our national security, our reputation, and our health care.

They're hollowing it out. Rich will get richer, and Putin will get what he wants.

Do you know
you are allowed
to take it slow
and step out of the tornado?

The conflict cyclone
will go on without you

Let those who exist to fight
self destruct on their own

Make today your time
to kick back
and savor the show
before it closes

Evil.

"The move came after an intense lobbying campaign by the right-wing activist Laura Loomer, who called the incoming flights a “national security threat” in a flurry of social media posts starting on Friday that targeted a nonprofit aiding in medical evacuations."

It genuinely hurts my earnest Gen X heart that organizations such as Fox News not only allow their guests to lie, but also don't make any effort whatsoever to offer context or correct misinformation.

Aren't there journalistic ethical codes that news organizations are required to follow?

A video arguing that women shouldn’t be able to vote was just shared by Trump’s Secretary of Defense, the guy in charge of our whole military.

And Democratic Party leaders still can’t stand up to this administration?! Our rights are on the line and all our party leaders offer us is silence.

I just left the Everglades Immigrant Interment Camp. No, I’m not using their ridiculous name. It was a very tough to witness humans in those cages. Every Floridian should be ashamed that our taxpayer money is being used for this.

A humble query for anyone who knows how to do stuff right:

I made this stone 'river' in the yard a few years ago, but can't ever seem to finish it because it needs a lot of maintenance. The issue is that the rocks get knocked loose quite easily, even when set in grout.

Republican party motto. It’s two parts.

1. People die.
2. Thoughts and prayers.

And here we have the deniers, convinced that any suffering is really fake news.

The amount of collective psychological trickery on display right now is bonkers.
Most reasonable people see Kandiss Taylor as a crackpot, but she serves a clear purpose for the GOP - a useful idiot. sewing doubt and confusion about climate change, and muddying the narrative with her insidious tripe.
As children die in Texas, a MAGA candidate tweets, "Fake flooding. Fake. Fake. Fake."
What kind of person pushes a weather conspiracy theory while some families mourn the loss of loved ones, and others still await news they fear in their souls will tear them apart? The answer is a mons...

Update: At this morning’s daily meeting, FEMA Acting Administrator Richardson spoke briefly only to say he has an upcoming trip to…Peru. No mention of Texas.
Staff at FEMA haven't received any internal communications from the agency or department leadership since the deadly floods in Texas, which is unheard of in the wake of a major disaster.

Acting Administrator David Richardson is "nowhere to be found."

If gutting Medicaid was truly good for the country, they’d roll it out before the midterms, they’d campaign on it.

When asked what I think about firearms, I said: "I think the Second Amendment is one of the stupidest things America ever did, other than the way activist judge Antonin Scalia willfully misinterpreted it."
