But so many New Yorkers decided to vote against the tides of hate and fear. For 2025, it's an especially bright day.

And it's satisfying to see so many people refuse to buy into the scare tactics against democratic socialism, especially when coupled with some of this country's FAVORITE scare tactics, Islamophobia and anti-immigrant rhetoric.

But it's a bright day when we the people vote to put more social services in the careening shopping cart of our capitalism.
