The album gathers home and live recordings made between the 1950s and 1970s, capturing a lifetime immersed in traditional song and the folk revival. “Golden Apples” is a special song for Ellen, putting music to a W.B. Yeats poem in an arrangement she learned from fellow folk singer Dave Van Ronk.

Plus, we have a new single out later this week, featuring Ellen singing Dave van Ronk's version of the classic folk tune ”Golden Apples of the Sun”!

And some news about our future music projects too: Ellen's second album should be available within a month!
