Every time hockey shows up on TV my brain immediately goes, “oh is this #HeatedRivalry content?” Not the NHL, not a random commercial, just Shane and Ilya / Scott and Kip vibes. This is my personality now. I mean, couldn’t this be Scott in a NY Admirals uniform.

Amazon, don’t you have years of data proving I avoid fitness in every way possible? Between my orders, Alexa interactions, Ring seeing DoorDash deliveries, and general vibe, this is a wild misread of who I am as a person. Or is this a suggestion that I need to change my ways? 🤔

Has anyone else tried the Reese’s Oreo peanut butter cups? It was… fine. Not bad, not something I’d ever seek out. If someone hands me one, sure. Am I buying them on purpose? Nope. They switched out chocolate for plain sugar and now the proportions feel off.

GF’s parents came by to bring me a gift. The bag came with a few extra items. Nothing says “we love you” as much as wanting to see your face when you open a gift bag & you pull out pain relief creams. Apparently, they were bringing them for my gf so why not turn my gift bag into a tote bag.

I’m currently “learning” how to play Madden while he plays with his new controllers since the old ones had “stick drift”. By learning, I mean he narrates everything he’s doing & looks back to confirm I’m watching and not scrolling my phone. So far my main skill is nodding at the right moments.

My sister lives like she’s training for the indoor Winter Olympics. Did she forget we were raised by warm-blooded mammals, not lizards under a heat lamp? I haven’t been this cold indoors since our parents ran out of oil when we were kids and needed to get an emergency delivery. Her house is arctic.

Today, while I waited for my Covid shot, I saw this…. Meanwhile, people lose healthcare, meds, and basic protections. I guess “coverage” only matters when it’s loud and cruel, not when it keeps people alive. Can you hear THEM now? (I felt triggered.)

On the 9th day of my advent calendar, Aldi gave to me… candy cane k-cup coffee. I wondered when I’d get a flavor like this. Absolutely not! 🤢 Mint is a universal no (except mojitos, because life makes no sense). First day I’m skipping the k-cup. Went with banana crème instead.

Day 5 of my coffee advent calendar was hazelnut. Not my fave of the flavored coffee options. Fixed it with cinnamon creamer and my go-to Anthropologie mug. Been eyeing the Christmas version of this mug for a while. Might need to get it.
