Sellwood Park
This one was an early one of mine, with a pretty basic kit, but the shoot is what made me fall in love with wildlife photography. Before I’d never gotten up close to an animal with a camera before, it was more than magical.

At a lake in northern Washington
I woke up at about 4:30 in the morning and waited by the water in 30 degree weather to meet this family of ducks and a few other avian friends. The dawn chorus alone made the cold more than worth it.
