Tomorrow I give a speech to 200 adults. Friends, I could speak to 1000 kids with 2 min notice and be perfectly fine, but adults? 😬 And I’ve decided I’m going to be vulnerable and open up about my childhood, the hard parts of it, and the way school and books pulled me through. Wish me luck.

Spent a wonderful evening with kidlit pals at the LWSD Reflections art show and then drinks and fabulous conversation after. The art some of these kids are making is truly astounding!!! 🤩 Love that the Reflections program has been offering arts opportunities and recognition in schools for 50 yrs!
