Hundreds of community members showed up to Target today to tell them to stop being a safe haven for ICE. We’ve seen so many community members taken from Target & the Quarry as they allow ICE to use their parking lot.

This afternoon a group of us met at Recovery and rode down together to the bike ride to honor the life of Alex Pretti.

We just joined Edison high school students as they walked out of school to demand an end to this illegal ICE occupation.
Our kids are leading the way and it’s our job to stand with them and make a better world possible for them.

Press conferences and social media posts have not changed conditions on the ground. Another person taken today off of Central Ave and Northeast middle school had to delay letting kids leave because of ICE presence in the area. The federal government continues to make our community less safe.

We’ve been on the streets all day with @bradlander.bsky.social and because we had so many patrols out, multiple abductions were prevented.
The world is looking to us for inspiration, and we will keep showing them how we show up for our neighbors.

This morning ICE attempted to enter into the Ecuadorian consulate on Central Ave but were barred from entering. I spoke with Ambassador Yanez this afternoon and they want to make sure the Ecuadorian community knows it’s still safe to come to the consulate.

ICE has been back at it with their illegal activity today. Abducting multiple neighbors in the Ward, physically assaulting observers, coming into businesses threatening that they will be back to arrest people for no reason.
If they come back today, they’re going to have to go through me first.

It’s good news that Bovino and some border patrol agents could be leaving our City. This shows that what we’ve been doing is working, which means we can’t let up! We continue to need people on the streets and pressuring our federal representatives not to fund DHS.

There’s a lot of noise right now in the media that is positive and shows that we are winning. But none of that changes the reality for our neighbors on the ground until ICE actually leaves. We still had ICE sitting in the Well Fargo parking lot and outside of Pillsbury this morning.

Alex Pretti was killed in broad daylight by the federal government all because he was out caring for his neighbors. We won’t let them stop us and we will keep watching out for our neighbors to honor him.

It’s 3 PM and we’re seeing a big increase of ICE and border patrol cars throughout the Ward. We need people out with eyes on the streets right now.

At 8 PM tonight another person was taken from Central Ave, with ICE leaving their cars hazardously all over endangering everyone just to kidnap a human being from our streets.
Afterwards, we helped escort a family home. They only had to walk 2 blocks to get home but yet prayed before we went.

ICE took someone in Waite Park today while they were delivering food to their family. ICE violently smashed their car on a residential street and then started pointing guns at children in the neighborhood.

This is what happened in our neighborhood yesterday. ICE snatched a human being off of our streets, roughed them up badly, and then pepper sprayed legal observers as they documented it all. This is a daily occurrence happening all throughout Minnesota right now.
