This is a yardstick by which every other member of the press should be measured. Refusing to bow to the current wave of astroturfed transphobia and standing up for scientific truth is and should be a base expectation of any public media figure, and anyone who fails to live up to it is a coward.

These fuckers trot in with “they need to know you can just be a masculine woman/feminine man!” 1) as if we haven’t been there and tried that 2) as if we don’t support cis people who are in those categories 3) as if they’re don’t treat those people with hatred and contempt

She simply what’s trans people to ‘disappear’.
Whether that is by actual ‘removal’, or to instil terror into them to not to dare step foot outside their homes, she doesn’t care, just as long as patriarchal rules and stereotypes are brutally enforced in the hope that trans people just give up.

No trans person should have to grow up hating their voice, hating their face, hating their hair, hating their body, when that loathing can be PREVENTED by a simple, common, safe drug. Puberty blockers are safe, effective, and well-tested.

Trans kids DESERVE access to puberty blockers, as they wish.

This is why "vote blue no matter who" is bullshit. It absolutely matters "who."
