I respect every trans person's right to live any way that feels authentic and comfortable to them. I'd march with you if you were discriminated against on the basis of being trans. At the same time, my life has been shaped by being female. I do not believe it's hateful to say so.

If only we has a reliable, impartial source who knew about such things: we could then answer the question if trans women were assaulting women, or whether cis male predators were ‘identifying’ as trans in order to gain access to women, but instead just remained as cis men in order to assault women?

A TOP cop has insisted trans ID issues around sex crimes are not a priority - because the force is dealing with SEVEN rape reports every day.
Deputy Chief Constable Malcolm Graham revealed of around 47 reported rapes a week in Scotland the force had yet to encounter a single trans attacker.

"That's nearly 47 rapes every week, nearly seven rapes reported every day and there has never been a set of circumstances... where we would have somebody who has committed a rape in terms of the act of rape who was biologically a man self-identifying as a woman.
"So at the moment it's a hypothetical debate. If it was to happen we would look very carefully at each set of circumstances."

Violence against women and girls rose by almost 40% in the last five years, according to a report from the National Police Chiefs' Council, as ITV News reporter Sangita Lal explains.

Violence against women and girls is a "national emergency" with nearly 3,000 crimes recorded every day, a leading police chief has warned in a new report.
More than one million violent crimes against women and girls were recorded by police in 2022/23, according to a report by the National Police Chiefs' Council and the College of Policing.
The National Policing Statement for Violence Against Women and Girls found that such crimes accounted for
nearly 20% of all police-recorded crimes excluding fraud in England and Wales between April 2022 and March 2023.
The report estimated that at least one in every 12 women will be a victim per year - equating to two million women - with the exact number expected to be much higher as some crimes go unreported.
The deputy chief executive of the College of Policing said violence against women and girls had reached epidemic levels" in England and Wales and called for government intervention in the "overwhelmed" criminal justice system.
Deputy Chief Constable Maggie Blyth told ITV News that these figures represent the 'tip of the iceberg' and that many crimes in this 'epidemic' remain unreported

I go to a local crochet group made up of the kind of women you would not expect would be friends with a trans woman.
Instead, they have embraced me, know all about me, and have rearranged our Christmas night out, so that I can attend before I go in for my vaginoplasty in December.

Trans people have had to put up with this kind of behaviour from the media for years.
In our case, the narrative that we are predators, rapists, and a ‘threat’ to women is never objected to by the commentators. Instead, they simply give the hate a free pass, and evidence is never asked for.

One significant - & dangerous - thing to watch for is professional commentators objecting to words rather than examining the evidence. It's pearl-clutching & cowardly, obviously, but also a deliberate attempt to avoid confronting exactly what they themselves are facilitating and often cheering on.
