Shocking arrogance and stupidity in this tbh. Note the separate of himself from the set ‘all other prime ministers’ which is always a tell. Note the assertion of ‘getting it’ whilst both the doubling down and decision to publish in The Times shows he precisely doesn’t.

Was at a cafe in crouch end this morning, surprised to see Torsten Bell there! Lovely to see him supporting his constituency and buying a coffee which costs around 5% of the weekly allowance he's happy for the most vulnerable people in our society to live on :)

Wes Streeting talking ignorant bullshit and potentially instigating a pile-on about a psychologist part of whose work is anti-whiteness. Which is about breaking down and challenging the whole concept of whiteness not anti-white people.
But he added: "Sometimes there are some really daft things being done in the name of equality, diversity and inclusion, which [have] undermined the cause. Or could someone link me with some placement coordinators? I would love to provide a year-long placement. The setting is an adult community mental health service based in Newham, London. We work with people who have highly complex and enduring emotional needs and we use integrative and trauma-informed approaches within a brief intervention model. 1:1 and group facilitation will be available. Hybrid working. Lastly, the trainee will be supervised by myself, a Counselling Psychologist, who integrates anti-Whiteness/anti-racist praxis into supervision and approaches to clinical work.
