They had already sent the digital files for Sunday's show to their Canadian broadcast partner before they decided to pull the story, so the story briefly appeared Monday on that broadcaster's website (apparently the process of "making the video available online the next day" was automated).

Earlier this year, I spent $200 plus tax on a pair of New Balances plus their special insoles... and as far as my feet are concerned, it was totally worth it.

My 76-year-old father, who takes several days to respond when I email him things from social media, went to the 1965 Shea Stadium show and reports, "I don't remember there being an excessive amount of screaming."
I told him, "Maybe it's the reason you wear hearing aids now."

That's the same tribute they've done previously for other guest hosts, former cast members, and behind-the-scenes crew. (Gilda Radner rated a rerun of an entire sketch right after she died, but I can't think of anyone else who got that treatment off the top of my head.)

Your talk about Pink Floyd reminded me of this story a friend of my father's once told me: as a young teen circa 1975, he wanted to buy the Chicago album that included "Wishing You Were Here," but wound up with Pink Floyd's "Wish You Were Here" album instead. He said it changed his life.

There was a bank that advertised during Rays radio broadcasts this past season that had "backslash" in their ad copy. Made me wonder, if they can't tell the difference between / and \, do they know the difference between $ and ¢?

Extra-relevant to your interests because he was created by a cartoonist (Lamar Sparkman, who did sports cartoons for the Tampa Tribune back when "doing sports cartoons for the newspaper in the third-largest city in Florida" was an actual good-paying job).
