Wow. Just wow.
Thank you Mr Raskin.
But why did we have to wait for an American politician to skewer him?
Where is the scrutiny for repellent selfserving windbag Farage on this side of the pond?

Jamie Raskin, "They only want to protect free speech that they agree with"

JR then demolishes Farage, ending with

"You might want to think twice before you let Nigel Farage Make Britain Great Again"

So many damaged, underdeveloped men.
But what does it say about our societies that these infantile men seem to be thriving.
In a more sane universe these deranged sociopathic narcissists would be told to take some time out & get some intensive therapy.
Instead they're ruling the roost.

@bylinetimes.bsky.social can now reveal that, during the crucial period when convicted Reform leader Nathan Gill was most active, working directly with Russian President Vladimir Putin’s most senior ally in Ukraine, he was also one of Nigel Farage’s closest confidantes 1/12
‘Thick as Thieves’: Nathan Gill and Nigel Farage’s Putin Problem
Far from being distant from the Reform UK Leader, insiders told Byline Times that the former MEP convicted of bribery was one of Farage’s closest aides, while we reveal how Gill worked on the Kremlin’...

It IS too late. It was Boris Johnson who let the populist genie out of the bottle in the first place and was applauded by fake patriots in his party for doing so.
The fact it's now devoured the Conservative Party is sheer poetic justice.

Bought it yesterday!
Looking forward to reading it.

It is possible for a brain to hold 2 thoughts at the same time.
1.What happened on Oct7 is a vile terrorist act which deserves nothing but condemnation.
2.Indiscriminately blanket bombing, starving and dehumanising a whole people is completely depraved and morally reprehensible.

Nothing screams weakness like the complete inability to cope with any form of dissent.
And in its wake a trail of destruction.

Javier Milei had to beg a bail-out and already needs another. Argentina's economy is in a tailspin. Gov't bonds and peso in freefall. People starving, throwing rocks at him.

Farage last year: "He's amazing. It's Thatcherism on steroids. Cutting and slashing expenditure. That's leadership."

It's immoral and senseless, a grotesque aberration.
Just like there is a minimum wage, there should be a maximum one.

Yes. Yes. Yes.
The extortionate housingcosts are a major driver of poverty and growing inequality in this country.
As long as the UK prioritises people's right to enrich themselves from investing in additional properties over people's right to own their own home this problem won't be solved.

They're not scientists, they're not Tylenol experts and they're not patriots either!
So easy to expose them for what they are(spoiler: bigoted selfserving populists who exploit the rightful anger of the British working class).
Which makes the British media's reluctance to do so all the more baffling

YES, YES, YES.
If Israel truly wanted people to distinguish between fact and propaganda from either side, they would have let independent journalists into Gaza a long time ago.
The fact they don't speaks volumes.
Israel's government is run by war criminals.

Israel does not allow foreign journalists into Gaza independently, citing security grounds.

U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent admitted that Donald Trump's administration was trying to help Argentina President Javier Milei maintain power by extending billions of loans to boost that nation's economy.

It was, together with Katangese seccesionists and with the help of the US and very likely the UK.

Sorry to do this in the wrong place but I tried to comment on your Lumumba post several times now as well as to quote post it.
All to no avail. It's as if my comments are being blocked.
Any idea why this is happening?

Lumumba was one of the most powerful voices in Africa's anti colonial movement at the time.
This tooth (kept as a trophy) was all that remained of him after he was murdered and his remains dissolved in acid.
This is what the west did to those threatening its hegemony.
Not sure that much has changed.

What's the point of a blind focus on growth for growth's sake if the proceeds keep disappearing into a select amount of private pockets. Trickle down economy has proved a sham. We need a way of redistributing the wealth we have.
Our whole value system needs a serious rethink.
