I'm on ~day 3 of a "digital detox". I'm feeling better today after 2 rough days. My rules are: no social media on my phone (save for letterboxd/probably StoryGraph) I've started playing games like Wordle/Sudoku when I get an urge to scroll. My screen time is down 35% but phone my pickups are up?

This whole #TikTok ban and now swift return feels like a lot of political theater (let’s not forget who originally called for the ban) & feels super gross with Shou attending the inauguration & bending the knee like all the tech bros. As sad as I was to see TT to, go I sure won’t be returning.

Leaving Meta makes me sad to lose access to the wonderful group of moms I have been in contact with through groups and just acquaintances on Insta I don’t talk much with but have access to when I need them. I wonder if there is much of a #mom community here on BlueSky?
