I had hoped this would be a film like "Constantine" ('05) filled with an epic battle between good & evil. What I got instead was a latex filled slog of a 'bad guy turned good' origin story. Not based on a comic, book or other movie. "B" for a unique concept tho

In being at day 5 with a severely screwed up back, I can only hope I learn my lesson from this. Which is: don't 'push through' pain, or you'll pay for it later.
While I'm not grinding myself down like I did in my 20's, I still push myself too much sometimes. Nothing is that important

I think I could be considered a loud person these days. I project. I enunciate. After a lifetime of being told "I didn't hear you" on the occasions my anxiety let me speak. Of being talked over. Or ignored. Just one way living as a guy has changed me. And everyone remembers my name, for good or bad

As I sit on the sofa, trying not to move too much due to an over stressed back I reflect:
I really wish I would have had better boundaries with my work life, insofar as how I physically pushed myself for a paycheck. For jobs that could have cared less if I was there or not. Just another body

A new job (either for income, or for bennies. Either/ or)
Or general despair because I can't pay the monthly premium
