Yeah. The people crying about PoCs in Warhammer are literal tourists who read summaries of people who read summaries of 1d4chan and thought the slurs were legit

When you dig into novels from around that time there are PoC women in regiments fighting alongside white men

IG has never cared about race or gender. They just need bodies to defend their homes. They even use criminals

I believe he's saying to extend ACA and do more. Like stopping pharmaceutical companies from charging $300 for meds that cost $20 in the rest of the world.

It's just very poorly worded.

There are people who have made their entire personality about a corporation. Lots of them. So much so they get tattoos of their products. Permanently branding them with their logos.

Yes I've seen someone with an Nvidia tattoo in 2008.

Corporations became the new religion to lots of people

Maybe I'm jaded but I can see people being pushed more. Especially since you have people still defending Nvidia.

What I'm saying is: it's okay to quit playing games you're not enjoying.

Honestly with how things are going I'm curious to see how hard they can push it before people fight back.

Everyone just seems to bitch but take it.

If i recall correctly they can't even convert the DIMMs to consumer grade DDR5 RAM. Which means they're just left with a bunch of chips that are ticking time bombs of wasted inventory due to technological advancements in RAM.

This is how i feel too
December 16, 2025 at 1:33 AM
Those are server ram and GPUs. They won't work with consumer grade hardware

That's a damn lie.

2 is a massive downgrade

Nothing turns me off like hearing a game is 40+ hours.

That just means they've padded the shit out of it

Haha.

Our choices are a possible impossible software implementation or a genie to get the Linux community to agree.

Balls
December 15, 2025 at 4:27 PM
... Then we'd have a year of the Linux after about 5-8 years maintaining it and keeping software support.

As it is now lots of software has to pray the community maintains their shared libraries and that it has most of the features they need.
December 15, 2025 at 4:23 PM
Yeah but the difference is no Linux distro has a massive archive like MS does. They all rely on community made ones that are individually installed with your software like it's Windows 98 again

If there was a distro that put in the effort to create an archive like MS and maintain it...

It sounds like it would be amazing. Honestly, I feel like if a Linux distro set up OS calls to reduce reliance on "shared packages" it would do wonders to improve software quality and compatibility with Linux.

Oh! That would be super helpful. Is that a MacOS thing?

I've tried to WINE it up but a lot of my software just nopes out. I've debated using a VM but if I'll VMing into Windows for a majority of my tasks then all I'm doing is crippling performance
