25 years ago today, Buffy finally found the right time to break down and let herself feel her grief and fear over what was going on with her mother. Riley was just sad he wasn't there to watch her cry.

But Riley did catch her and Spike in what he surely thought was a compromising position.

It might be Thanksgiving in the US, but the rest of the world? It's Wrecked's 24th birthday.

In which network censors were challenged beyond belief.

And we learned that Spike, canonically, is the best sex Buffy ever had.

Happy 24 years of Spuffy's first morning after!

In addition to it being Wrecked's anniversary airdate, it's also a holiday of some sort in the US.

Is the holiday a sham? Undoubtedly. But it is a sham with yams. A yam sham, if you will.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone celebrating today! May your Thanksgiving be blessedly Angel-free.

23 years ago, Spike tried to goad Buffy into killing him by reminding her of his monstrosity. Instead, she saw his humanity.

She believed in him.

And as it did throughout the series, time once again proved her right.

She keeps him with her.

26 years ago, Spike showed up on Buffy's -- err, Giles's -- doorstep looking for help from his mortal enemy. Buffy promptly responded by tying him up (relatable) and touching him more than was necessary (also relatable).

Also, someone made a bear.

Happy 26 years of Pangs.

They needed more time.

Shadow aired 25 years ago -- the first episode after Fool For Love, in which Spike has stopped fighting his love for Buffy and surrendered...by being a total creep.

But at least he got to live rent free in Riley's head in the process.

The eye contact.

His face.

Her face.

24 years of being ruined (positive) by this episode.

Spike's face when he realizes it's his sexaversary with Buffy.

Her gift is in his pants.

Making plans to demolish a building. #IYKYK 😏

Celebrating 24 years of SMASHED.

23 years ago today, Sleeper aired and really kicked off the S7 Spuffy supremacy.

Because no one could ever mean to Spike what Buffy means to him. And even if he's afraid of the answer, he'll come to her when it's the right thing to do.

She is his sun.

Buffy and Spike are at their best when they're working together -- even when their objectives are very, very different. When does fake dating become a real relationship? Our current features answer that question with pure Spuffy delight.

26 years ago, Spike woke up muttering about the Slayer...again.

He also called her brilliant, proving he is one of the only people in her world that doesn't doubt her smarts.

We stan a man who doesn't underestimate the women in his life.

November is really good to Spuffies. Look at all the episodes we've celebrated thus far.

And Something Blue Day is STILL coming up.

Fool For Love, episode of all time, aired 25 years ago today.

It's actually hard to quantify how much this episode shaped fandom. All we know is the answer is A LOT. After all, we're still here, basking in Spuffy supremacy.

We're just Fools for Love celebrating 25 years of Fool for Love.

"Ready, Randy?"

"Ready, Joan."

A soulless, memory-wiped Spike decided he was a good guy just because. And Buffy decided that vampires with souls were silly.

Also, Buffy demonstrated that with or without memories, straddling Spike is her favorite thing.

Happy 24 years of Tabula Rasa!

Watched this episode live 23 years ago. No idea what to think about a Spike who had won his soul only to start killing again

It's also the episode where we hear Buffy describe herself during the S6 affair. Wish we'd seen Spuffy have an honest conversation about it, but hey, there's always fanfic.

Amazing piece of Spuffy art by eringarey, showing them as overlapping forces of nature. Two sides of the same, err, stake.

26 years ago, Spike's dramatic bad guy monologue was rudely interrupted by a bunch of army dudes. And everything started to change. All because this wet cat couldn't stay away from the Slayer if his unlife depended on it.
