I worked in SF at CALPIRG in the 90s and quit when I realized how most of the donations we received just managed to pay us to do the work. Educational outreach is important for sure, but it felt deceitful to ask for donations when most of it went just to pay us to keep asking.

My dx was post covid infection too. I also feel there is a connection, and resonate with not even wanting to give words to that idea.

I was in a Tai Chi class with Master Chungliang "Al" Huang, and he spoke to the strange irony of the British Museum saving so much material from the Cultural Revolution. History is weird.

Dogs of War was the first of yours that I read & it hooked me. Cozy sci-fi is my jam these days & I love the growth curves your characters tend to have.

Side note, I was at a museum a few days ago & saw the word orrery & then you used it in Bee Speaker. I love when I notice connections like that.
