Ugh

My A1c shot up to 8.7 my last test was 7.3
We’ve switched me to Mounjaro last friday since Ozempic hasn’t been working right after my bypass with weight gains.

No wonder why I’ve been sluggish and exhausted these past several months.

All set up and ready to go. Gotta say it’s the small touches that make a show and having a nice soft chair that’s not a folding one is absolute bliss. I only forgot one folio it just had the Doom Patrol omnibus covers and three Green Lantern pages…. I always forget one item.

I’ve seen this film easily 30 times, at least 5 times in a theatre. I own it on Blu-ray. It never gets old( no pun) seeing it again on the big screen is always a great time. At the Hollywood and it’s free.

#Superman helps a lost child. "We can probably hear your mom looking for you... I bet she's scared by herself." From Adventures of Superman V1 #627. Written by #GregRucka with art by @emceeartist.bsky.social.

A young girl in a pink coat and purple backpack stares at a TV display in a mall, which reports Superman saving lives in Mexico City. She excitedly calls for her mom, but as she turns around, she realizes her mother is gone. Surrounded by tall adults in the crowd, she looks frightened and begins to cry, whispering for her mom. Suddenly, she sees a red cape and blue suit appear before her—it’s Superman. She looks up at him in awe as he greets her with a calm “Hi.”

Superman kneels to the little girl’s level, smiling warmly and introducing himself. “I’m Superman. What’s your name?” he asks, extending his hand. The girl, crying, says her name is Lindsey and explains that her mommy got lost. Superman gently reassures her, telling her that parents sometimes get lost too. The giant title “BATTERY Part 1” overlays the scene as people around them look on in surprise and admiration.

Superman lifts Lindsey onto his shoulders and carries her through the mall. He tells her that parents rarely go far and suggests they listen for her mom’s voice. Lindsey’s mother frantically searches, calling her name. The reunion is joyful—Lindsey rushes into her mother’s arms, exclaiming that her mom was lost but they found her, and repeating Superman’s words that she doesn’t have to be scared anymore. Her mother hugs her tightly, thanking Superman through tears. Superman humbly responds, “Not really. Take care of yourselves,” before flying away through the mall, cape trailing behind him.
