Just so incredibly dumb from EA. Especially when Kingdom Come 2, a resolutely single-player game with no online or live service component, just sold a million copies in 24 hours.
Waking up and immediately checking your phone to see what insane shit Trump has done or said overnight definitely isn't healthy, but it absolutely jolts you awake.

*minor spoilers for Mouthwashing* For years I always wanted to see a game where you used a gun but only once in the entire runthrough. So many games where the default and contantly repeated verb is 'shoot' so that the weight of the consequences of pulling a trigger are vastly diminished. 1/4

Finally got around to playing Mouthwashing specifically so I could listen to this. 2024 was a bleak year for games in many ways but this and 1000x RESIST are shining examples of what the medium can be with small budgets, small scope and superb writing / storytelling.
