Oh boy! Jack Skellington, the giant pumpkin, will be trucked to Camano Island on Friday, says the sign! He now weighs 686 lbs by various necromantic means of measuring him! But the competitive weigh-in on Saturday will determine his true weight. Then he will come back for photo ops and carving prior to Halloween.

Jack Skellington the giant pumpkin sits under his shade canopy, looking a bit like an orange Jabba the Hut. The shape is ovoid and slightly lopsidedly flattened. The pumpkin has deep ridges and is a bright yellow-orange. He is surrounded by large green pumpkin leaves. This, by the way, is on a sidewalk strip by the street, so you can see a parked car next to it, and the houses and trees across the street.
