As Trump tries to dismantle the Department of Education, remember that his plan to cut the corporate tax rate to 15% would give the 100 largest corporations a tax cut larger than the entire department's K-12 budget.

As was obvious, Democrats compromising on basic things like “Due Process” or “Civil Rights” would not result in some sort of Republican goodwill or electoral benefit — it’s just leading to Democrats looking spineless as they possibly help Trump throw migrants into Guantanamo:
58 Democrats helped Republicans pass the Laken Riley Act, which will enable Trump's ICE to put migrants *accused* of shoplifting in detention, without due process.
