#317 - Opium War 2: Laboriously Vile Barbarian Eye

In 1834, William Napier was dispatched from London to Canton to peacefully conduct British trade with China.

Within 2 weeks of arriving, he was prosecuting a nearly one-man war against the entire Qing Empire...

Side Topic: but in my latest ep. (#317), one of the major (and in my frame of view, comical) sub-plots of the Napier Affairs was that it was being written about in the moment by Napier like they were his livefeed... but they were all only received a 1/2 yr later, after the whole thing was over
as a black comedy, someone should write a version of WWI leadup that has social media. Don't bother about incongruity of fitting 21st century social media tech into early 1900s. Just imagine what it would have been like

"but kamala didn't express enough support... or said... so, really she wouldn't have been any bett-"

Shut. The Fuck. Up.

If this is your "position," you have nothing to add. You're less than useless. Go suck your thumb, sit in a corner, & watch the backslide quietly if you really think that.
TFW you've perfectly distilled electoral nihilism & making 'perfect' the nemesis of 'better' into a little personal axiom for yourself...

Let us remember Maxim 29 from the "Seventy Maxims of Maximally Effective Mercenaries":

"The enemy of my enemy is my enemy's enemy. No more. No less."

So assign Dickie to the Punishment Batallion & let him go do some good for once by clearing the minefields with his ass.
Folks, if Richard Hanania now wants to fight the administration, racism and fascism, you let him do it and don't grind his nose in all the shit he did to make it happen until after the fight is won.

You don't trust him, you don't rely on him. But you don't shit on his claimed conversion. Yet.

All of a sudden that 2nd Amendment is looking a lot less "shall not be infringed"-able to these cowardly fucks...

There is no "re-training" this. There is not "reforming" this.

This must be excised, scoured, eradicated - root & stem.
ICE must be destroyed & DHS along with it.
ICE ended up returning the man, Saly, after realizing he’s a fucking US citizen with no criminal record, per his sister-in-law. These fucking animals.

The closest thing any of them - one upon a time there were lots in SH - had to a 'name" were just the Mom & Pop Hui 兰州拉面 restaurants where they're up @ ~4am cooking the broth.

Holes in the wall. Literally.

Mostly gone pre-COVID - swept away with the Uighur purges in coastal cities, ca. 2014-15

"Is Your Email Address In a Fed Database?? Enter It Here To Find Out..."

Yeah, don't do that.

The answer is Yes, & has always been 'Yes.' No need to give it to some hackersite for them to give you the same reply while also convincing you to hand over your credit card #.

Which bucket do The Baileys put the lotion in to lower down the basement well?
NEW: In this interview, Chuck Schumer describes the "five buckets" Dems think are key to their possibly winning a Senate majority in 2026: housing, "the high price of food [and] food monopolies playing a major role there," electricity, "the high cost of childcare," and health care.
Zero Chucks Left to Give
Chuck Schumer now sees a path back to the majority. Can he manage his way through it?

“It’s not a scam if everyone aware that the dice are loaded”
Hearing the word "crypto" and immediately thinking it's a scam is close minded. All the traders in the space openly know the risk they take in investing in projects like this. Open Source devs get rewards for building cool shit through trading volume fees. How is it a scam?

Oh no, not the best possible use-case for that thrice-damned song ever yet proposed, oh no, that would be terrible, please let's not have this happen all the time for the rest of his life
Oh man. It would be terrible if people started following Bovino around and playing Baby Shark. It would be terrible because he would hate it, and it would probably become his theme song, and it would make his Nazi in a long coat cosplay all the more ridiculous.

So no one should do that.

The Left, about the oppressed: "SAY THEIR NAMES!"

The Right, about the oppressors: "DON'T SAY THEIR NAMES!"
BRENNAN: Tell me about the officer, Jonathan Ross

KRISTI NOEM: Don't say his name! I mean, for heaven's sake, we shouldn't have people continue to dox law enforcement

BRENNAN: His name is public

NOEM: I know, but that doesn't mean it should continue to be said

I regret to inform you that the US Dept. of Labor is... <sigh> ... 1488-posting (14 wds, 88 chars), because all these accts are now run by the same little snotnose 17-yr-old stormfront kiddy.

Hey, @corybooker.com, this is exactly the sort of useless, means-tested, lobbyist-sanctioned half-measure bullshit that got us here in the first place.

Why do you insist on being such a cowardly loser, Senator? All the fight leave you with that “big speech?”

Furthermore, ICE must be destroyed.
