After days and days of endless rain, the sun has finally decided to show up, and so have the cherry blossoms! I can finally stop being depressed…at least until the petals start falling and we enter the 春の終わり (end of spring) sadness and subsequent 五月病 (May malaise) arc.

Made a desperate coffee run to survive the first two hours of Monday—because legally, I shouldn’t be held responsible for anything I say before caffeine. At least the view was nice… unlike my will to work.

The best part of Sakura season is sharing it with the people you love. Except me. I’m alone, aggressively taking pictures while frolicking around.

My Yearly Sakura Report:
According to the forecasts, Kanto is supposed to hit full bloom tomorrow - but honestly, I’m not seeing it. Except for that one overachieving tree that already peaked, dropped half its petals, and is basically moving on with its life. Early bloomer syndrome, I guess.

According to my absolutely reliable journal, I've worn this exact outfit 78% of winter days, including to live my pool shark fantasy and to the office (bye bye suits, it was nice while it lasted).
