Ultimately, it’s obvious that we evolve over time, and our clothes should reflect that. I got somewhat known here for tailoring, but honestly? That’s not even what I feel like wearing right now. Evolution, baby.

I’m not saying this is an existential sewing crisis, but I *am* reevaluating my style and what I actually enjoy wearing — and realizing there are definitely some pieces missing from my closet. At the same time, rehoming clothes is hard, especially when they're customized to my measurements.

Yes, we keep saying making our own clothes is more sustainable than fast fashion — but if you sew something new every month, is it really??

But now that it’s spring (...maybe?), I am less busy with other enterprises, and I'm fully entering my skirt era. My stash is calling to me — loudly. But but but I’m also trying so hard not to fuel the consumerism monster, which, sadly, permeates the sewing world too.

Pants are the #PeppermintWideLegPants, and the turtleneck I got 10 years ago from Uniqlo (fast fashion becomes slow fashion if you wear it long enough??). Honestly not very exciting, but also… who cares? I've never been fashionable and consistency is a virtue 🤣.
