sunken kuru ruins is easily my favorite it's so damn good

anyone who uses it was probably already cutting corners in their mods/packs anyway but it's just sad how inescapable it is especially in a community that was built by passion projects since day 1

there are a few exceptions i can think of, like umbreon, the ralts line, and haxorus, but most of them i can't imagine ever wanting to actually use over the normal version (especially because i really don't care about flexing shinies)

a lot abt it is also just rly special to me as a gen 4 kid...
it feels silly, but a specific moment that makes me rly emotional is when you enter a pokemon battle with a noble and the wild battle motif starts playing. i can't describe why it's so moving to me but it's made me tear up multiple times

turn based battles work perfectly fine in the mainline games but in a game where you have to interact with this many wild pokemon to get research and progress the story it feels so slow and bad to the point where i just started avoiding aggressive pokemon whenever i could

hay fever eczema asthma and eoe are a demon combo because they're not usually deadly or even necessarily debilitating but such a fucking pain in the ass to deal with

Not to mention fucking megalosans being confirmed. i'm still not over that. I still don't think i'm entirely ready to accept the idea of using it as a sans motif outside of old AU homage stuff but if that's the price I must pay to be Canon and Tony-core I will do it...

also the sans alphys parallels he brought up are a win for umbratale tbh. ive been on this for a while. I definitely need to flesh out sans more in the au though, i introduced napstablook in the soundtrack uploads before him
