In what appears to be the first time an abortion provider has been criminally charged since Roe was overturned, a Louisiana grand jury has indicted a New York doctor for shipping abortion medication to a teen patient.

The Trump administration has ordered agencies to shut down initiatives that “promote or reflect gender ideology,” and that employees who work on them be placed on administrative leave, in the latest action to execute the president’s charge to root out “woke” ideology from the federal government.
