We will see intimidation/escalation over the next few years, and we will need strong city leadership. We must be vigilant but careful not to speculate or spread rumors and fear.

Please support businesses and restaurants on Lake St. The immigrant community needs support and love.

Watching MPD protect/enable this act of force is deeply disturbing and is emblematic of the police state’s priorities: violence over meeting human needs.

Officials present in the operation were from ICE’s HSI in collaboration with enforcement and removal (ERO). Shame on MPD for protecting them.

We believe that it is vital to promote best public health practices in the interest of everyone's safety, especially those that are disproportionately faced with exposure to the virus, harsh workplace conditions, and lack of healthcare access.

Undocumented agricultural workers are being exposed to a deadly virus without the proper protections by their employers. These large agricultural companies will often threaten their undocumented employees due to their legal status if they report this workplace malpractice or call in sick.

Thank you to the community members who hold us accountable. As a team of BIPOC students, recent grads, and immunocompromised family members and friends, we shouldn't fall into the anti-masking trap. These reminders keep us going despite passive aggressiveness and blatant ignoring from other folks.

Note: We did not require masks at this event, but we will in the future. Thank you to the community members who hold us accountable!
