In the post I summarize the 4 companies that do non-invasive CCTA imaging with A.I. to detect high-risk coronary artery plaque. Medicare just announced reimbursement for >$1,000 for 3 of these algorithms

"Strange Structures Found Lurking in The Blood of People With Long COVID."

Analysis found long COVID patients had far more microclots than healthy controls — a median 19.7-fold increase — and the clots were also significantly larger than those seen in healthy blood.

A horror story of patients suffering needlessly.

Kaiser has 160,000 #MECFS #pwME and not ONE physician
in their entire system w/ add'l current training & years of clinical experience to competently treat this severe
multi-system illness.

160K pts' horrible suffering b/c of KP massive negligence.

The hidden epidemic.
Expert COVID physicians + researchers say 30% of COVID cases turn into Long-Covid, w/ lingering virus + a full-on assault by the immune system. Similar to #MECFS, usually launched by Epstein Barr + other viruses.

It’s unwise + cruel to cut funding for these disabling illnesses.

Not all power is aggressive, bullying power, Marco Rubio.
Soft Power, establishes goodwill and does good things for all of humanity.

A big bonus is when it comes time to negotiate tough issues,
you already have a sense of cooperation.

Marco Rubio, you’re an idiot for ignoring, SOFT POWER
Secretary of State Marco Rubio on Wednesday told an official with USAID that foreign aid was "the least popular thing government spends money on" and had become increasingly difficult to defend, according to a transcript of a private embassy event.

Surprised heparin was used. Treating physicians taught me anticoagulants don’t work w ME/CFS and COVID microclots
bc these clots are not the result of a thrombic cascade but instead are fibrin-myeloid in nature, the result of infection, epithelial inflammation, and a reprogrammed immune system,

Now that they destroyed their own neighborhood, the Maga/Elon trolls are rolling in to BlueSky.

My recommendation is to block early, on the first offense, without explanation.

Lots of folks rightly worried about Pandemic 2.0 again being catastrophically mismanaged killing many Americans, or cratering the economy with an intentional recession, but I think we all forgot that a war would be way worse with these dumb fucks in charge. Way. Worse.

There appear to be at least three separately operating heel factions breaking things within the government in wholly different ways right now. There's the Miller-headed immigration one, the DOGE/Elon one, and a Project 2025 OMB one. This dynamic hasn't showed up in mainstream reporting at all.

I’m going to put my rich guy hat on and say I hope that Mexico and Canada issue equal, retaliatory tariffs and stick to them for an extended period.

I apologize to all the people it will cost money and the businesses it will hurt.

But it’s the only way for tariffs to be seen for what they are

We need a health care system reform, it’s bad, it’s expensive, it’s not good for the doctors, it’s not good for the patients… who is it good for? Pharmacies? Insurances? I traveled to South America and I was treated in a private clinic for way less! And the service provided was great!

MICROCLOTS in ME/CFS and COVID patients need far more recognition among physicians.

These are not regular clots; they have a diff cause, molecular structure, tests.
Anticoagulants don’t work.

Treating the upstream cause (infections, stuck immune system) + apheresis help but ignorance kills.
Anticoagulation for severe (hospitalized) Covid, a prospective, systematic review acpjournals.org/doi/10.7326/... Supports therapeutic levels (vs prophylactic) to improve survival, but lots of nuance, contradictions that make changing practice unlikely
