Today’s anaphylaxis: a paper towel. Actually a fragrance on the towel. This was not a new roll, & I’m pretty sure I’ve used one from it already. Eating dinner & I suddenly ended up inhaling what smelled like febreeze, which hasn’t been in my house in at least 25 years. #MCAS is weird & evil.

Mast Cell Disease/ #MCAS is weird.
Like my mast cells decide:
“Sure! You can eat that pizza no problem!”
Then, the next day3 “you need 2 EpiPens because it’s windy outside” even though my mast cells won’t let me out.
Maybe they wanted a Christmas present. Wasn’t Benadryl festive enough?

If we do not order her a sub for herself, she is relentless, even climbed up my dad’s pant leg. It’s just easier this way. She also likes cheeseburgers, tacos & General Tso’s chicken

Who else is going non traditional food? We just were’t up to cooking. We pre ordered Italian from my favorite small, family owned restaurant. They also do Haluski & pierogis. We’ll have leftovers for days. (They close on Friday so they can celebrate.) Even with MCAS I can eat from most of the menu!

I was hoping for flutters. Sometimes the bird thinks it owns every caterpillar because it can eat them. Then, one day, the caterpillars hide for a bit, become liquified, & rearranges themselves into a beautiful butterflies. They flutter away into a big blue sky, pollinating plants & giving life 🐛🦋
We call them “posts”
