This is surreal. I feel as though I’ve stepped into an alternate universe.
This flyer was found in our (Northside) Cincinnati yard (and neighbors’ yards) today. It was mentioned on local TV news, but will it be addressed by law enforcement?

The impact of losing NIH funding in CT. All his supporters thought he would make the economy better, but in reality it’s just the opposite. When will they realize he doesn’t care about the little people — their money, their lives, or their health?!?

A good reason to skip work today… it’s National Christmas Movie Marathon Day. As if I need an excuse to spend all day knitting. 🧶😁🍿

Proof that I CAN actually finish a project.

At my knitting group this evening I finished up my Sockhead Hat and promptly started wearing it. I love it!

Toby and Milo in a rare moment of calm. In a couple of hours they will be overwhelmed by family. 🐶🐾

My 3 boys are young adults (18-25). I love seeing them grown and how they’ve turned out. But I do miss having them around.

Last night we had all 3 at dinner and it was as if no time had passed at all. Laughing, teasing and the grownup equivalent of fart jokes.

I will always love being a #boymom

As I scroll through Bluesky, I’m stuck by how much it’s like the early days of social media. It’s refreshing: fun and random conversations like posts & tweets used to be.

Now, if we could only bring back the flashing, dancing webpages of the 90s, then I really will feel like I’ve time traveled.

Hey! I joined Bluesky some weeks ago, but finally getting around to trying it out. My entire feed is about books and pics of dogs and cats (which is surprisingly accurate for me). So here’s a random picture of a hat I was knitting last week while on vacation.
