I’ve been debating if/when to leave the artist formally known as Twitter. It feels like I’m rubber necking an horrific car crash, looking away however, sanitising what I imbibe, doesn’t feel like the right thing either. Echo chambers help no one.

I love speaking to people on the doorstep, it’s such a reassuring reminder that most people aren’t terminally online and that Twitter/main stream media isn’t the real world.

@emilypomroysmith.bsky.social good to hear about your solar install when we were on 5 Live together just now. The @nationwideuk.bsky.social 0% mortgage offer for green tech is interesting - hopefully the Govt's new scheme will make this kind of funding more widely available.

Hi Jon, cost is definitely a big barrier, so making green energy more accessible can only be a good thing! Great to hear about the work that you are doing.

It’s the ward where I live, unlike the current councillor who doesn’t even live in the town, so I’m going to work hard for it!

#Caturday because this ball of floof needs to be seen…
Gillie the ragdoll cat looks straight at the camera, he has piercing blue eyes and grey and white fur. He is a long haired ragdoll so incredibly soft and fluffy.

Lovely evening helping the Southwick Beavers earn their ‘Disability Awareness Badge’. Education is the key to understanding, and now there’s a whole troop of accessibility champions ready to advocate and empower 💪🏼
