Most days in my new place we have young people on verrry noisy quad bikes and the ones that aren't quad bikes but aren't quite motorbikes (what are they called?) going up and down these paths. Anyway, was just by the window as some turned up, thought I'd have a nosey. Turned out to be the police 😂

I continue to be entertained that the human body doesn't have proper receptors for 'wet'. I just sat on the sofa and immediately went, 'Ew! Why is there a wet patch under my ankle?!' It turns out I was just touching the cold metal of my phone charger 😆

Have just spotted that The Naked Week is back today, hooray! Given that it's Halloween, I truly hope the which is/witches joke gets used in full force. I'll catch up while I potter about tomorrow 😄

Do you know what, Channel 4 player, or whatever you're calling yourself now? One day, I might have considered paying to go ad free on your platform. I might have considered it. But the fact you put this pop up *every time I open the website* means I now categorically will not EVER do that.

My dad got this notification from West Northants council last December, and we found it so funny my sister and I added food caddy liners to their stockings last minute. Tempted to do it again this year for the lols 😂

I have accidentally become a big hit on Threads today, the platform where I spend approx 3 mins of my day before getting annoyed and leaving again. I did not mean for this, espesh when my bluesky posts reach on average 0.5 people per post.

I just discovered that this was available to preorder! And so I have 🤩 (I know they're on bbc sounds at the moment, but they're so fickle with what they add and take away without notice, so. Another one for the JFSP collection 💜)

And when you combine it with things like this: the third headline on the front page of the app is Farage vowing mass deportations. WHO CARES?! He has a handful of MPs, but he's being reported on as if he's already the prime minister?! Why is he given such priority? It drives me mad.

The crochet, it is progressing. I have (colour coordinating) yarn arriving tomorrow so I can start making squares to make a lap blanket or something. I am excited. Two weeks practising in the yarn scraps bag is long enough, I'm in need of a Real Project 😄

After many years of convincing myself that my skills lie solely elsewhere (mostly in needlecrafts), and that I won't be able to learn to crochet, after a week of practice and mum-lessons I have crocheted my first granny square 🤩😄(Scroll for my best friend not accepting my nonsense 🙈😂) Feeling proud!

It's so odd! I found it with The Stolen Girl on Disney+ a few months back - I was like, I can't even reach for my laptop quick enough to press the button before it's over! Ghosts US is the same, the ident has a *two bar* phrase of music, it's five seconds at most, and yet it still asks...🤷🏻♀️😂
