Leaked texts on Scott Bessent’s phone suggest the White House got played bailing out Argentina—and U.S. soybean farmers are the casualties
“This is highly unfortunate,” the text said. “Soy prices are dropping further because of it. This gives China more leverage on us.”

US District Judge Denise Cote ruled that Musk himself had reduced his privacy interest by publicly boasting that he holds a “top secret clearance”—and discussing his drug use (including ketamine and marijuana) and contacts with foreign leaders (including Russian President Vladimir Putin).

I can’t begin to account for all the extra work AI has created for professors. Everything is harder and takes longer now. Quality of teaching, research, and service are all dropping. The job is less interesting and satisfying. AI creates demand for human labor but it’s crap.

Pritzker: "He wants to militarize major cities because he wants us to get used to the idea of troops on the streets. I believe he's gonna post people outside of polling places and if he needs to in order to control those elections, he'll assume control of the ballot boxes & count the votes himself"

With all the talk of 'illegal' and 'migrants on boats' in the UK, much of the discussion also forgets that these are people fleeing persecution - some may be dissidents. Human rights matter but there are other reasons why you don't hand them back, to help evil regimes.
