I made my own 2026 Reading Journal ☺️! This was such a fun craft to do! I plan on adding more personalizations to it. The first small section will be where I keep my reading data. Including a couple maps to mark where authors I'm reading are from. #BlackBookSky

I absolutely love making long dramatic earrings lol. An extra length for every time someone says "aren't those a little too long?" Or "that's gonna hurt your ears eventually" 💁🏾‍♀️. A Leo is gonna Leo that's all I'ma say! Lol ♌

The pattern is twoblack and white stripe agate beads, then a long black bone, then a wood bead that has been carved, long black bone, wood bead, agate, big jump ring, white bone that has a loop carved in it. A selfie of me wearing the long earrings but in white, pattern is long white bone (tube shape), a small wood bead carved, copper jump ring, another long white bone, wood bead, finishing with a long white bone agai. I'm wearing all black so the earrings really pop.

My hand holding up a necklace made out how howlite and green calcite beads. Light blue thread is knotted between each bead. The batter goes 3 howlite, 1 green canclite, and repeat. My hand holding a tourmalinated quartz necklace. The pattern is 3 round beads, one spikey piece of quartz, then 3 beads again. So the quartz sticking out looks kinda like shards of ice. My hand holding a necklace made of of carnelian, fire agate, black and white stripe agate(I forgot the name of it lol), and howlite. The center has a big bead that is flattened with an imprint of a sun in the center. Red thread is knotted between each bead. My hand holding a necklace made up of moonstone and mookaite. The mookaite has been separated color wise, so one side of the necklace has the redder shades and one side has the more yellow ones. Pattern goes one mookaite, one moonstone. Yellow thread knotted between each bead.

Soft dnf 😔. The premise of this story is so interesting - kingdoms with people able to summon their warrior ancestors, interesting tech, and monsters. However the amount of povs is making me feel detached from the story. This feels like it's purpose is to set up the 2nd and 3rd book. #BlackBookSky

Finished Thrum the other day! This was really good! An astronaut wakes up on her ship & her crew is all dead. She's now tasked with continuing on with their mission & winds up on an aliens' ship. Where she starts hearing shit 👀This was an intense and a wild ride! Emphasis on ride, iykyk lol #BookSky

Only 5 minutes into this audiobook and I AM SEATED!!!! Wow what an incredible and mysterious opening to a story. I was smiling while listening to this intro because I was enthralled with how in such a short time I was already so hooked.

The way I'm eating this book up!! The author has packed in so many details about the people, the world, history and myth that even when we are in a particular character's pov I still can get a feel of what the other characters are thinking and feeling 👀. Rn I feel tense and worried! #BookSky 📚🩸
