I appealed stating that Texas currently charges abortion docs with 1st degree murder, and that HR 2197 seeks up to death.

Democrats need to show willingness to make those changes though. Too often candidates like Kamala sprint to the center and don't present themselves as "for" significant change. It doesn't happen overnight, but we need some signs of progress since Republicans are easily bringing changes that suck.

The issue is that even when they win they avoid making any changes too significant that their base actually wants. Dems don't get what they vote for either way. Republicans at least get some of what they vote for, even if it's awful.
