We need SCOTUS term limits and a routine of moderation. I suggest every new presidential term replace the two most veteran members of the court. No exceptions. The composition should not depend on who dies when.

The actions and decisions of the "pro-life" party have basically killed my hopes of anything being done about this. We always say we'll do something, and then we don't. At this point, I just breathe a sigh of relief when the fatalities are in the single digits. Congress is Useless.

Sapphire in this story was just trying to throw t he blame for this on Biden and the ACA the whole time as if it wasn't republicans and their sabotage causing these problems. Even when admitting reality theybare in a state of denial. JFC

Again, I don't disagree with it being a goal, and would like to see it sooner rather than later. That said, our system makes it very hard to push for things hard and fast without suffering political consequences that will make it take even longer to achieve.

Which is why I also support bringing our welfare programs up to snuff. In the US, a broad UBI program without changing anything else will also lead critics to sabotage and propagandize it. There are too many with power who WANT it to fail. They don't even leave targeted assistance alone.

I'm not totally opposed to the idea, and I do think minimum wage should be higher. There are just a lot of things that we would have to fix about our economy first before UBI becomes viable. Those things are mostly about how companies and employers are allowed to operate and price.

Impeach. Anyone put there by an R has to go. They were nit put there to protect people from the government. They were put there to protect republicans from the law.

They're not afraid of his mean tweets. They're afraid of his rabid and violent cultist followers. The issue is if they go too far in Trump's direction, they'll get threats regardless for being sentient tumors on our democracy.

The issue with that is companies will charge more with American's new spending power because they will be willing to pay it. Making sure resources are applied for specific use (to start anyway) keeps greedy sellers from treating it like a new slush fund in someone else's name.

No halfsies so dems can fill up the war chest either. We're not going to beat trump by having more money. We're going to beat him by actually getting votes from people who trust us more and by reminding voters why we're not going backwards.

I prefer scrub the sewer. A swamp plays a part in the world and fosters life. This is a hazard of our own making that at this point exists as a means to harm until we can fix it. Will dems alone fix it? Fuck no, but it will be objectively better than before.
